You have likely heard of Google’s recent announcement regarding mobile-friendly websites (unless you have been living under a rock that is).
Google announcement – “Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.”
Due to the rapid expansion and growth of smartphones and tablets, having a mobile-friendly site should have been a priority for any business relying on their website to generate sales and enquiries for some time even without this recent announcement from Google.
People are ever increasingly using their mobiles to visit websites, so businesses that do not have a website where users have a great mobile experience will very soon find themselves losing out to their competitors.
